Jennifer Chiu brings more than 16 years of professional experience to her work, with a background spanning luxury hospitality and high-end residential design. She earned her BA in Interior Design from UC Davis and began her career at a global hospitality design firm, where she contributed to projects for distinguished brands including Waldorf Astoria, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Hyatt, Marco Polo, Aloft, and a range of boutique hotels.
She later transitioned into residential design, creating sophisticated high-rise residences in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Jose, as well as private homes for clients around the world.
For the past 8 years, Jennifer has led Jennifer Chiu Design, bringing together her hospitality and residential experience to create thoughtful, highly personalized interiors. The studio is known for an approach that combines elevated design with warmth, functionality, and a strong sense of individuality.
Jennifer’s design philosophy is rooted in creating interiors that feel timeless, tailored, and deeply personal. Her work balances sophistication with comfort, thoughtfully layering color, texture, material, and subtle detail to create spaces that feel curated yet effortless, refined yet inviting.
